For many TAFC's annual trip across the Solent over the years has become a pilgrimage as well as a tour. As a manager of the now U14s Dragons, time has flown and we are now about to embark on the last trip that we as an age group can participate in. It’s why we are organising it this year and we hope as many of you that can make the most of what is a brilliant weekend.

The tournament caters for all ages from U7 to U14 and the standard of football is mixed. In 2019, TAFC took 15 teams but COVID put '20 and '21 to the sword, so it really is great to be back. Let's hope we can get our numbers up to 2019 levels or more and give TAFC a strong presence this year.

Accommodation in static caravans at Thorness Bay Holiday Park and ferries from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington are all included. As a rough guide it’s approx £150 per person for the 3 nights arriving Friday 29th April, leaving Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May (tournament finishes on the Sunday so last night is optional)

Before we share details on the options available we need each team to indicate whether they are able to take a squad. The formats are below. If teams are struggling to get numbers then please do talk to your other age group managers/admins and see if they'd be interested in putting in an age group combined team. You're also able to invite non TAFC registered players should you need to.

We are late organising things this year so we do need an indication of interest in putting in a team by 31st January. We’ll then need commitment with deposit payments by end February.

Under 7/8 – 5-a-side
Under 9/10 – 7-a-side
Under 11/12 - 9-a-side
Under 13/14 - 11-a-side
Girls Under 10/11/12 - 7-a-side
Girls Under 13/14 - 9-a-side
